1. Introduction
Miru is built on the principle that your health data belongs to you. We collect only what's necessary to make your meal plan intelligent, and we never sell your data to anyone — ever.
2. What data we collect
- 📧Account data: Your email address only. No password is stored — we use one-time codes for sign-in.
- 🏃Health aggregates: Daily averages only — resting heart rate, sleep hours, step count, and body weight. Raw HealthKit readings never leave your device.
- 📊Usage data: Anonymous, aggregated analytics via Cloudflare. No personal identifiers attached.
- 💳Subscription data: Managed entirely by RevenueCat and Apple. We never see your payment details.
3. How we use your data

- ✓Detect biometric patterns and adapt recipe selection
- ✓Send plan-ready and grocery reminder notifications
- ✓Process your Premium subscription
Never: sold to third parties, used for advertising, shared with data brokers, or used to train AI models.
4. HealthKit data
Raw HealthKit data never leaves your device. Only daily aggregates are sent to our servers: average resting heart rate, total steps, sleep duration, and body weight. We cannot and do not access your individual health records, workout sessions, or any other HealthKit data types beyond these four daily summaries.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with the sub-processors required to operate the service:
